A Fresh Chapter's (AFC) mission is to help people make sense of the complex emotions of cancer and give them the tools, support, and community to thrive - even in the midst of challenging circumstances.
A Fresh Chapter (AFC) is a non-profit that believes that people are not defined by the most difficult parts of their story. We are empowering people impacted by cancer to heal while building a better world.
In 2022, we have big plans to scale our impact and we can’t do it without your support! This Giving Tuesday, will you consider making a tax-deductible donation to AFC to help make this all possible? Together, we can:
- Scale the Ignite (10-week core series) program to transform 120 lives – including in Kenya where only 3% of the 42,000 people diagnosed with cancer get access to psychosocial support.
- Serve 500 patients, survivors, caregivers with the expansion of our Empower Workshops (1-2 hour stand-alone workshops) with a focus on underserved communities.
- Put I.D.E.A. (inclusion, diversity, equity, and access) into Action through building long-term sustainable partnerships with non-profits and health centers serving the Black, Hispanic/Latinx, LGBTQIA+, AAPI, and Native American communities.
