A FRESH CHAPTER'S 2019 PERU ODYSSEY PROGRAM

by A Fresh Chapter

Latoya Cauley

I have been chosen to participate in A Fresh Chapter's 2019 Peru Odyssey Program.  For two weeks in November 2019, I will travel to Peru with fellow cancer survivors.  While there, we will volunteer with local organizations that provide support to cancer patients, the elderly, underserved children, or those living with disabilities. I will also get to experience AFC’s innovative psychosocial support model exploring the emotional impact of cancer.  I will return home with new perspective, leadership skills, and the opportunity to continue to give back in my local community.

Donations will be used to cover my Program Fee.  All additional money raised over that amount will be allocated to AFC's Scholarship Fund.

Searching for a way to find healing through helping others I stumbled across A Fresh Chapter, the Odyssey Program is one I'd heard mentioned many times. But always talked myself out of applying for one reason or another.

This life-changing experience will allow me the much needed opportunity to address and tackle the emotional strains of this disease, while providing strength, encouragement and support to cancer patients, the elderly, underserved children, or those living with disabilities.

Your support in this cause is greatly appreciated!!

AFC empowers those affected by cancer to heal, connect, and serve others while reclaiming their lives.
