On Feb. 21, I will celebrate FIVE YEARS since my last chemo treatment! To honor this milestone, I am raising money for an organization near and dear to my heart - A Fresh Chapter.
A Fresh Chapter’s Odyssey programs empower cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers to heal, connect, and serve others while reclaiming their lives. When I traveled to Peru in 2016 with AFC, I was finally able to get over that emotional "hump" after cancer, and it was a truly life-changing and humbling experience.
All the money I raise will go towards funding scholarships for future participants of the program, who otherwise would not be able to afford to go.

AFC Alumni are raising money for scholarships for future participants to create a ripple impact of good in the world.
Our immersive international volunteer experiences foster connections across borders, raise awareness about cancer globally, and help everyone involved see struggle and resilience from a fresh perspective. In addition to the volunteer travel experience, our extensive online framework of support offers participants tools and resources to reframe the adversity of cancer and redefine what is possible in their lives.
Donations will be used to cover program related costs and all US Donations of $100+ are eligible for a tax receipt.
